The LIFE CRAL project workshop @Polimi

On Tuesday 19th November 2019 our researchers held a workshop at the faculty of mechanical engineering of the Politecnico di Milano, one of the highest-ranking European universities for engineering degrees. The workshop was organised under the course “Applied metallurgy” taught by Professor Fabrizio D’Errico.

During the LIFE CRAL workshop, aimed at Master level students, our researchers explained the project thoroughly: from the metal processing to its impact, the students had the opportunity to understand the semi-solid process andcome to grips the innovative industrial process.

Disseminating content at a high technical level is deemed of primary importance by the CRAL Consortium. Passing down new methods and prospects to students is of vital importance in order to build a prepared generation of professionals ready to enter the European job market.

Moreover, a fruitful cooperation between academia and the industry is the basis for an up to date academic teaching, which is in turn the cornerstone of effective innovation in the industry in the long run.

The presentation held by our researchers can be found in the download area.
